Are you up for a well-being challenge? I was contacted recently by Saint Michael’s Hospice in Harrogate, North Yorkshire to see if my company wanted to be involved in a business challenge to raise as much money for the hospice as possible during the month of October.  I have seen first hand how wonderful Saint Michael’s Hospice is – my close friend Andrea Rowe passed away there after her battle with cancer.  It is a place close to my heart so I signed up straight away.

During the month of October The Mindfulspace Wellbeing Company and Studios are running a well-being challenge for anyone over 18 years old.  It has two aims, one is to improve participants’ well-being and the other is to raise funds for the hospice.  In their own time, participants fit a total of 31 minutes of well-being or self-care into each day for 31 days.

Participants sign up to the challenge for the cost of £19.99 via a just giving page which goes straight to the charity.  We then send out a personal log and some ideas on how to improve their well-being. Once the 31 days are over, all logs can be sent or emailed back to us with a chance to be entered into a draw to win £100 worth of treatment vouchers.  There is also a £50 voucher for the most innovative well-being activity.

It can be little things done during the day as well as taking 31 minutes out of your schedule. Use your imagination! The only rules are that it has to be legal and payments can only be taken in October. There are also other challenges during the month of October which we will be announced in September. If you want to sign up to the 31 day well-being challenge please email info@mindfulspacemeditation.org
